Upcoming Workshops: Flinders Closing the Gap Program™ workshops to be held in Adelaide on 24th-25th of September and 21st-22nd of October.
This 2 day course enables health practitioners who work with Aborginal and Torres Strait Islander clients to understand and use the adapted Flinders Program™ principles and tools to enhance their ability and practice to support clients to become more involved in managing their own health and well-being. There is a specific focus on tobacco smoking as a risk factor in recognition of the fact that smoking rates remain at a high level throughout the Australian Indigenous population and is the single most preventable health behaviour contributing to the health gap between Indigenous and non-Indigenous Australians.
Please click on the attached flyer to view the current information on training, pre-consultancy and service provision from the Flinders Closing the Gap team across Australia.
